Created in 1998, this cluster now brings together 185 entities, ranging from large industrial groups to innovative startups, including several airports, a military base, SMEs/ETIs, research laboratories, and higher education institutions.

Representing over 25,000 employees and generating revenue of 4.7 billion euros, NAE asserts itself as a center of excellence, a true pillar of the Norman economy.

A few industrialists are laying the groundwork for cooperation.

Birth of Haute-Normandy AeroEspace: A charter for progress signed by the State, the Region, and businesses gives birth to the aeronautics and space sector. Areas of work are defined. A coordinator pilots the actions of Haute-Normandy AeroEspace within the Regional Council.

Constitution of an Association under the 1901 Law.

Opening towards Lower Normandy. The objective is to rely on a denser network of suppliers and subcontractors. Haute-Normandie AeroEspace becomes Normandie AeroEspace.
